SLEEP IS THE IMAGE OF DEATH, NOT A DEATH ITSELF

For a long time in Korean history, 한 恨 (pronounced 'Han') is theorized, termed by colonial stereotypes from Japan imposed on Koreans as the beauty of “sorrow, indigenous, pitiful race”. But, 한 恨 is more fluid, plural, and complex meaning.

This film will show it not from black and white tension but multiple tense wires tangled within “othered” grouped fostered because of the others—한 恨 (Han) as to redeem the crisis forgotten although it hasn’t been a tragedy yet but deserted throughout suffering of fear, the misery of separation, and physical limits experiencing every day.

This film is a fictional entry into the story of a 30-year-old soldier, who was on a battlefield every day. And, the characters will remain a form of the subconscious of emotional turmoil, regret, remembrance, and eventually resilience. This recollection of the moments let us explore the abstract form of a various personal, cultural form of performances.
